a song a day - Paris Paris by M.Mclaren feturing Catherine Deneuve

This song today because I've just seen Paris / Niebo nad Paryżem - a movie with Juliette Binoche setting in Paris. Beautiful story or rather a compilation of several interlinking stories ... different people from different walks of lives, at different age and of different nationalities - and we observe their every day existence with their problems and joys and outlooks on reality around them. A really nice film ... allowing us to stop and think for a while what is really important in life and see the worth of life itself ... and showing the wonderful Paris.

something for the wall ... or not only ...

a song a day - In Your Presence by Jason Upton

Psalm 63

/Psalm 63 /

God—you're my God! I can't get enough of you!
I've worked up such hunger and thirst for God,
traveling across dry and weary deserts.

2-4 So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open,
drinking in your strength and glory.
In your generous love I am really living at last!
My lips brim praises like fountains.
I bless you every time I take a breath;
My arms wave like banners of praise to you.

5-8 I eat my fill of prime rib and gravy;
I smack my lips. It's time to shout praises!
If I'm sleepless at midnight,
I spend the hours in grateful reflection.
Because you've always stood up for me,
I'm free to run and play.
I hold on to you for dear life,
and you hold me steady as a post.

a good start of a day

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love,
that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days."

a song a day - VemVet (Who knows) by Lisa Ekdahl

Below - an English translation of the lyrics of one of many beautiful songs by a great Swedish jazz singer Lisa Ekdahl. The song is added to the playlist ... and if you want to see a video - it's here.

you are a fairy-tale too good to be true
it's a fairy - tale that we have found each other
we might as well
never have met
or was our meeting
already determined long before we were born
who knows, not you
who knows not me
we know nothing now
we know nothing today

a song a day - Love Our Time Today by Yamit Mamo

It's the final song from the Death at the Funeral comedy. Totally love the song - just as the film itself. A bit absurd but very funny - just can't help laughing.

Good Morning. This is your wake-up call !

a song a day - Born Again by Third Day

Today I found myself
After searching all these years
And the man that I saw, he wasn't at all who I thought he'd be
I was lost when you found me here
And I was broken beyond repair
Then you came along and you sang your song over me

It feels like I'm born again
It feels like I'm living
For the very first time
For the very first time
In my life

Make a promise to me now
Reassure my heart somehow
That the love that I feel is so much more real than anything
I've a feeling in my soul
And I pray that I'm not wrong
That the life I have now, it is only the beginning

It feels like I'm born again
It feels like I'm living
For the very first time
For the very first time
It feels like I'm breathing
It feels like I'm moving
For the very first time
For the very first time

I wasn't looking for something that was more
Than what I had yesterday
Then you came to me and you gave to me
Life and a love that I've never known
That I've never felt before
