Word ... Love ... Life ... Light ... Aboundance

In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He existed in the beginning with God.
God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him.
The Word gave life to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.
The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.
/John 1:1-5/

That's a fragment of today's gospel - one of my favourite Bible verses, because it speaks in a language of simplicity and poetry about the greatest miracle - Love becoming so real that we can experience it everyday and we can enjoy the aboundance of life He brings to share with us.
Have a blessed Sunday wrapped up in His love.

Na początku było Słowo,
a Słowo było u Boga,
i Bogiem było Słowo.
Ono było na początku u Boga.
Wszystko przez Nie się stało,
a bez Niego nic się nie stało,
co się stało.
W Nim było życie,
a życie było światłością ludzi,
a światłość w ciemności świeci
i ciemność jej nie ogarnęła.

Fragment dzisiejszej ewangelii i jednocześnie jeden z moich ulubionych fragmentów Biblii - bo prosto ale i poetycko mówi o tajemnicy i cudzie Miłości, która stała się tak realna i bliska, że każdy może jej doświadczyć i poczuć jak ożywia to co wydaje się martwe, wątłe, bezsensowne.
